Application Process
The first step in applying to Benedictine Academy is to attend one of our Open House events or to call 908-352-0670 ext. 104 to receive an application and make your first appointment.


9 th  Grade Students
All applicants for 9th grade must complete the full admissions process in order to be offered a placement at Benedictine Academy. This includes: Application, most recent three years of academic performance, the COOP test results, two letters of recommendation and must attend one of our Open House Events.

10 th and 11 th Grade Transfer Students
Limited space is available in our 10th and 11th grades each year. Students who wish to apply for 10th and 11th grade should contact the Admissions Office prior to submitting an application for a pre-screen process.

Mid-year transfer students are welcome to apply through Grade 11; however, admission is limited and dependent upon space availability and the student’s academic qualifications and record of conduct.

Checklist for Admissions

  • A completed Benedictine Academy Application 
  • HSPT Entrance Examination (9 th Grade Only)
  • Transcripts from the previous 6 th , 7 th and first marking period 8 th grade, including all standardized test scores (PARCC Exam or Terra Nova)
  • Two Letters of Recommendation  

     

Important Dates

Friday, November 9, 2018  (8:00am - 12:45pm) HSPT Exam offered at Benedictine Academy

December 14, 2018 – Deadline for returning the 9th Grade Application and academic records to Benedictine Academy

January 10, 2019 – Benedictine Academy acceptance notifications mailed to 9th grade applicants

Rolling Registration begins on January 12, 2019
